Details: This Dixon DM Series mender hose fitting is made of zinc plated steel and is suitable for repairing a broken hose. This hose mender has barbed ends to create a tight seal on a hose when used with a hose clamp or crimp sleeve or ferrule (not included). It is made of zinc plated steel for greater corrosion resistance than unplated steel. It is not recommended for compressible products such as air, nitrogen, or steam.
